Thao Lam, MPH
Research & Evaluation Associate

Thao Lam, MPH, is an Arizona native and a graduate of Emory University’s Master of Public Health in the Environmental Health program.

Her time at Emory, both during her undergraduate and graduate studies, allowed her to cultivate her love for community health. A year-long internship with the Southeast Pediatric Environmental Health Specialty Units (PEHSU) and the Center for Black Women’s Wellness (CBWW) fueled her passion for the implementation of environmental health constructs within maternal and child health settings. Through this internship, she met Dr. Broomfield-Massey and joined Urban Metrics Consultants after graduating.

In her free time, Thao loves cooking with her family, playing the piano and violin, and devouring books. You can also find her watching crime shows, learning multiple languages, and experimenting with wine!
