Aruba Muhammad received her undergraduate and graduate degrees in Public Health from Georgia State University, with a concentration in biostatistics.
Aruba has extensive experience in program development, quantitative and qualitative data collection and analysis, and report writing. At UMC, she applies these skills to support Dr. Broomfield-Massey.
Aruba’s research interests have always revolved around maternal and reproductive health, with an emphasis on educating women in her community on these matters. She is also deeply passionate about environmental health, particularly as it relates to women’s issues.
When she is not working, Aruba likes to spend time with her family, read, paint, and explore the great outdoors.
